Lanterns: The Harvest Festival - Foxtrot Games
In Lanterns you'll play the part of an artisan charged with decorating the lake for the Harvest Festival in Imperial China. Lanterns is a really great-looking tile-placement game, with a very cool double-edged feature, in that each tile you place benefits you, and every other player in the game! We're going to be posting our preview of the game here very soon. Spoiler alert: It's good!

Dead Drop - Crash Games
This micro game comes from our good friend Jason Kotarski, and is the latest in the Pub Game Series from Crash Games. Dead Drop is a game of deduction and deception. The game features just 13 cards, as players play as spies looking to pick up the "Dead Drop" by deducing and correctly guessing which card is the drop. This is an inexpensive game to get in on, and we'll be reviewing it very soon--it's a LOT of fun! We recommend you back it!

Skyway Robbery - Phillip duBarry/Game Salute
Form a gang, grab some gear, bust gang members out of the brig, and pull off some heists! Skyway Robbery is set in a steampunk aeronautical world as players travel in a sweet zeppelin-looking jobby and try to become the most reputable and rich gangster. This one has been in development for years and it looks like that time has paid off. Check out our interview with designer Phillip duBarry right here, and check back soon for our preview!

Clockwork Kingdom - Mr. B Games
Mr. B continues their march of big box games, having successfully funded Spurs, and Alien Uprising and getting them to market. Clockwork Kingdom is a worker placement game -which is unique to titles previously released by Mr. B, it's also set in a pretty sweet looking steampunk land as players attempt to become the next ruler of the Clockwork Kingdom. Mr. B has a great track record of delivering games as promised, and so far they've been well worth the investment! Be sure to check this one out!

Well it's no surprise that a pirate game made its way onto Kickstarter, and subsequently into our little Kickstarter roundup... But what you will find surprising about this one, is that it's not all about being a cutthroat, swashbuckler trying to hijack your opponents and sink their ships and all that usual pirate fare you'll see in a pirate game. Dead Men Tell No Tales is a co-op game in which players team up to steal treasure from a besieged ship that is on fire. It's a fun and unique spin on both the pirate, and co-op genre, and definitely worth taking a look!

Read MoreDungeon Dice successfully kickstarted last year as an adventure game played entirely with dice, players face baddies, find treasure, you know, epic hero type stuff. Well potluck games is back with an expansion to the Kickstarter hit, with Dungeon Dice: GUILDS and apparently you all can't get enough! The meager funding goal has been smashed through with 28 days left in the campaign and there have already been a TON of stretch goals unlocked with a good amount left to achieve -and there's no reason to think that they won't be unlocked. This campaign is worth checking out simply for the witty video, BUT you should check out the game too. If you already have the base game the expansion is pretty reasonable, if you don't have the original you can bundle it up with the expansion and some cool Kickstarter exclusives as well!
