Kickstarter Weekly - Sept. 4, 2014

Let's do this! There are a lot of really great projects to take a look at this week! And we've rounded up a few for you to check out!

Featured Campaign!

Skyway Robbery - Phillip duBarry/Game Salute

Form a gang, grab some gear, bust gang members out of the brig, and pull off some heists! Skyway Robbery is set in a steampunk aeronautical world as players travel in a sweet zeppelin-looking jobby and try to become the most reputable and rich gangster. This one has been in development for years and it looks like that time has paid off. Check out our interview with designer Phillip duBarry right here, and check back soon for our preview!

Dragon Tides - Artistic Justice Games

Are you kidding me?!? An officially licensed game featuring Bruce Lee, Brandon Lee, and a cast of other classic martial arts masters?!!? Dragon Tides is a fast-paced game driven by card-play and dice--not that it really matters, because...you know, Bruce Lee! The game also features some gorgeous plastic minis of the heroes, and a slew of others that might be unlocked! This is a MUST BACK for anyone who is a fan of the martial arts!

1750: Britain vs. France - Battle Hardened Games

When I first came across this one there was a knee-jerk "oh... so it's Risk." Reaction, global domination, and dice--who wouldn't think that? But looking a little further this seems like much more than that. With a great historical setting, along with some amazing artwork, 1750 looks to offer a much deeper gaming experience. So you power-hungry history buffs go check this out!

The Orcfather - Mage Company

Mage Company is at it again, with a fun twist on the gangster game. The Orcfather pits players against each other as they are divided into two teams/gangs and try to be the biggest, baddest gang in the land... The twist is, we're not talking about Chicago or Detroit in the 1920s, we're talking about a fantasy realm with ogres, fairies, elves, and orcs, among other fantastical creatures.
