Today we're doing a Double-Double-Take Review--first of Battle for Sularia, and then a preview of the first command pack expansion: Blood, Profit, and Glory, which just launched on Kickstarter.

Battle for Sularia is a card-based battle game for 2 players. It comes with two pre-constructed decks (one from each Faction: The Jotune and Synthien), as well as plenty of extra cards to build your own decks!

A while back we had a chat with the bigwigs at Game Salute because they had just secured the rights to create tabletop games based on the cult classic The Princess Bride. Well I (Jeremiah) received a preview copy of the retail release of one of those games by Matthew O'Malley: A Battle of Wits.

No soup. No salad. No entree. Just desserts! Today Jeremiah reviews the latest concoction to come out of Looney Labs: Just Desserts.

Just Desserts is a card game for 2-4 players in which you're a server at a desserts-only cafe, trying to take care of guests who come in with certain tastes that are on your tray (cards in your hand). This is a filler game that plays in anywhere from 10-40 minutes.
