Kickstarter Weekly--2-12-2015
/Welcome to this week's installment of Kickstarter Weekly. We hope wherever you're reading from is much warmer than the blustery Midwest where I (Jeremiah) am. Our current wind-chill advisory is in the -10 to -20 range. This is what we like to call perfect board game weather! Nothing better than to pour yourself some hot chocolate, put some nice hot soup on the stove, and bundle up and sit at the table with a new board game!
With that being said, let's jump in and see what's cooking on Kickstarter!

Ghostbusters: The Board Game - Cryptozoic
I'm not sure why there is a need to Kickstart a game with such a strong license behind it, but in the wake of the recent news of the new all-female reboot of the Ghostbusters franchise, Cryptozoic has launched a campaign for a board game playing off of the classic original films--and let's not forget the cartoons, comic books and toys. The game looks to be a scenario-driven co-op adventure game featuring modular boards for 1-4 players.

Battle Roll - How We Roll Games
Armed with some sweet custom dice, two players will do battle, by... well, rolling dice. It's how dice games work. This one looks like a quick-playing dice battler, as each player only has three lives to live. This one is definitely worth a look-see if you're into dice games!

All Fathomed Out - Daniel Marthaler
All Fathomed Out is a deep-sea-exploration game. Player's will reveal tiles of the briny deep as they move their subs around in hopes of finding specimens, which score points so you can, ya know, win the game. This one features some slick artwork, in what looks to be a fun little exploration/adventure game!

Pretense - A Game Night Social Metagame - Jason Tagmire
WHOOPS!! We're totally late to the game on this one (Sorry Jason!) but Pretense looks really cool. Pretense is a metagame that runs your whole gamenight long, each player has a different role and is trying to get other people at the table to perform actions in order to gain their card. It's cheap to get in on so snag up a copy before it's over... which is REALLY SOON!
