FRESHWATER FLY, BY BELLWETHER GAMES

The folks behind the hit game Coldwater Crown are back with another fishing-themed offering. This time it’s a dice-drafting game for 1-4 players. You’re drafting those dice and assigning them to actions on your player board, which looks like a reel but also a rondel. Higher-valued dice give you better actions, but lower-valued dice can give you more actions. All of this is an effort to fulfill the various goals for that particular game. It’s a fun theme, and the game looks gorgeous. Only three more days for this campaign so get in while you can!

BORGATA: A FAMILIES GAME, BY GOAT GAMES

Newcomer Goat Games is offering their first game on Kickstarter—a deck-builder for 2-5 players. Each player is a different crime family, trying to rise in the ranks, and become the most powerful and respected empire. As you climb that ladder, you’ll also get the attention of the authorities, so you’ll have to deal with that. And you’ll send out your goons and wise guys to take over businesses and Burroughs. All this for a reasonable $29.
