Fantasy Flight Enters the Collectible Dice Market with Star Wars: Destiny
/Fantasy Flight is taking full advantage of their Star Wars license--this time with a new game that uses collectible dice and cards--Star Wars: Destiny. It's a 2-player game that uses characters from across the entire Star Wars timeline and universe.
Each player comes to the game with a 30-card deck and dice. You'll play events, weapons, supports, and other cards to attack and defeat your opponent.
Not too many details yet, but we should know more after Gen Con.
The game drops in November, and starter packs are $15 each. Booster packs will include five cards and one die, and cost $3 each. The dice are big and chunky, but despite appearances, the images aren't stickers--they're printed onto the dice.
