12 Realms: Ancestor's Legacy - Mage Company

A little over a year ago Mage Company successfully ran a campaign for 12 Realms a fantasy co-op board game with some sweet miniatures that is based in the, well... 12 Realms. Players quest along their merry way using classic fairy tale characters in order to overthrow some sort of baddies etc. Ancestor's Legacy is the next step in that quest; it comes with a whole bunch of bits, minis, cards and tokens. The components and artwork shown on the campaign is all top notch! If you love fantasy miniatures games, this is one you won't want to miss!

Good Cop Bad Cop - Overworld Games

It seems that with the mad success of games like The Resistance, Coup, Ultimate Werewolf, etc. that hidden identity and social deduction games are becoming a thing. And that's ok with us. Good Cop Bad Cop is a game of this ilk. Instead of keeping all of your information hidden, though, the mechanics allow for players to reveal cards, which gives clues to what side they're on. The game plays 4-7 players and only takes about 10 minutes to play. This could be a nice little filler and a gateway into one of our favorite genres of gaming! The price is right on this one too!

Transylvania: Curses & Traitors - Loren Cunningham

3-6 adventurers will explore Transylvania in this modular board game that will have you facing all sorts of nasties as you seek knowledge and items to help you on your quest. There's a good chance that the quest will be the death of you, but the game assures you that's all part of the fun. Players who die take on a new monstrous role in the game. This one definitely looks like it has some fun twists and turns, and the box looks like it's packed with all sorts of goodies! The campaign is funded so it's time to start knocking down stretch goals!

March of the Ants - Weird City Games

Each player takes you into the underworld of ant colonies. Not that anything is criminal here. It's just, ya know, ants, so they're in the underworld... Anyway, lots of different mechanics are in play as you develop your colony, explore, forage and evolve your ants to suit the needs of the colony. The game is funded and there are plenty of stretch goals to achieve! Look for a review soon!
