Make Mow Money!

Sometimes we're so excited for a Kickstarter project that we're happy to give it its own blog post. This is one of those times: Mow Money, from Mayday Games, just launched on Kickstarter, and it's great.

Mow Money's designer, Matt Saunders, actually went to church with my (Firestone) wife when they were kids. And then when my wife and I got married and moved to northern Colorado, we went to church with Matt's folks. So a year or so ago Matt contacted me and said he'd be visiting his folks, and wondered if I'd want to try his new game.

That game was Mow Money--a neat little reverse-auction game about snagging landscaping contracts from other players. I loved the way the auction went against type. I loved the unique and original theme. And I loved that it was a quick game with great decisions.

Matt told me that Mayday Games had decided to buy the design, and now it's up on Kickstarter.

Mow Money is already funded, and Mayday is hoping to have this in your hands by the holidays. And if you're one of the first 500 people to grab a copy, you'll get the limited edition for no additional cost. So head on over to Kickstarter and support my pal Matt, and a great auction game: Mow Money.

Thanks for reading!
