We Have Goats - Oliver Smith

A tile-placement racing game, We Have Goats looks like a clever light-weight game in the filler. Lots of bright artwork and clever goat-ish word play in this one. And the price seems right. Tile placement seems to be the forgotten genre of the day as drafting  has become the trendy thing now-a-days, but We Have Goats looks like a fun little romp.

  • Campaign ends - June 25, 2015
  • Pledge for base game - $29

Customizable 3D Printed Miniatures - Imagine 3D Miniatures

A really slick campaign that will (if funded) allow gamers to customize their own miniature and have it printed and shipped. You can choose a race, class, armor, weapons, even make mounts for them, such as horses, boars, dragons, and the like. They look nicely detailed and sturdy, and for those who are into that sort of thing you can then paint them to your liking.

  • Campaign Ends - June 19, 2015
  • Pledge for base game - $20 (for a horse, + $10 to ship to US)

Skull Tales - 4Moon Studios

Ok. Pirates, sweet miniatures, modular boards, and semi co-op. There's not much else to say. There also appears to be a campaign mode, which sounds very intriguing--perhaps a little different take on the classic pirate formula of sail around, find stuff to steal/buy, then sell it for more?

  • Campaign ends - June 4, 2015
  • Pledge for base game - $85

Thanks so much for reading and we'll see you next week, as our Origins coverage kicks off!
