Weekly Wonder--What's Your Favorite 2-Player Game?

Last week's Weekly Wonder asked about your solo gaming habits. So this week we're going to talk about 2-player games. When we first started the blog, we wrote about our favorite 2-player games. Here's Firestone's, and here's Jeremiah's

That was a long time ago, so let's revisit it. What are your favorites? They could be games meant for 2 players, or they could be mulltiplayer games that you love with only 2 players.

My (Firestone) list is still valid, but the one game I would add, and the one that's captured my attention most right now, is Android: Netrunner. This Fantasy Flight game was designed by Richard Garfield, who also designed Magic: The Gathering. One person plays a corporation trying to gain power and influence, while keeping out hackers. The other player plays a hacker trying to thwart the corp's plans. The two sides play completely differently, and there are multiple branches of Corp and Runner, all of which also play differently--so the replay value of this game is off the charts.

Keeping up with all of the LCG releases is hard, but this is one I won't let slip through my fingers.

So what about you? What's your 2-player game of choice? Let us know in the comments. Thanks for reading, and have a great weekend!
